Program Overview

Provide financial support to homeowners constructing secondary suites. The program offers a grant of 35% of eligible construction costs, up to a maximum of $35,000 for qualifying secondary suites.
Eligibility Criteria
Homeowners must live in the primary residence where the suite is being built. Secondary suite must be new or newly converted, meeting code and bylaw standards. Eligible costs must be incurred between April 1 2023 – March 31 2026, with completion by March 31 2027. One suite per homeowner qualifies.
